The Marcus Collective ("we," "us") runs The Catalog as a way to show clients and prospects curated, brand-name products for decoration and gifting. This page explains what information we collect through this site, why, and what we do with it.

What we collect

We collect personal information only when you give it to us directly. There are two places on this site where that happens:

• Newsletter signup (footer). If you enter your email address to stay in the loop, we store that email address so we can send you updates from The Marcus Collective.
• Start a Project form. If you submit an inquiry, we collect your name, company, email, phone number, quantity, timeline, and any message or product details you include. This is sent directly to Perry Marcus by email so a real person can follow up.

We also use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics service, to see how many people visit the site and which pages they find useful. Umami is cookieless and does not track you across other websites. It does not collect your name, email address, or any other personal information, and none of the information you submit through the newsletter or the Start a Project form is ever sent to it. Umami is the only analytics or tracking script on this site.

We do not ask for payment information, passwords, or any government ID through this site.

How we use it

We use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, put together a project or quote, ship samples, and follow up. We use newsletter emails to send occasional updates about The Marcus Collective. We do not use your information for anything beyond that.

We do not sell your information

We have never sold, rented, or traded your personal information to anyone, and we never will.

Who else sees it

A small number of third-party services help us run this site and respond to you:

• Netlify hosts this website and processes the newsletter form submission.
• Resend delivers Start a Project inquiries to Perry's inbox by email.
• SAGE, an industry product database, is the source of the product information, images, and pricing shown on this site. Browsing products here does not send your personal information to SAGE.
• Umami provides cookieless, privacy-focused analytics so we can see how the site is used. It does not receive your name, email, or any other personal information.

None of these providers is permitted to use your information for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry and newsletter information for as long as it's useful for the business relationship, and delete it when it's no longer needed or when you ask us to.

Your choices

You can ask us to tell you what we have on file, correct it, or delete it at any time. Email start@themarcuscollective.com and we'll take care of it, usually within a few business days.

Children

This site is intended for businesses and working professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If how we handle information changes in a meaningful way, we'll update this page and change the date at the top.
